I began my counseling journey with John a few years after a counseling retreat. I had made a lot of progress at my retreat but found myself struggling again with some of the same difficulties. Meeting with John for 8 hours of intensive counseling was a breath of needed fresh air. He is honest and frank. He listens and by the grace of God is able to put his finger on the spots that God is working on and little by little proceeds to challenge those areas giving biblical counsel. I think of it like this, God has gifted John to "see" with spiritual eyes where the difficulties lie and has given him experience and wisdom to apply the Word, giving actionables on how to work out that word practically in your life. I highly recommend John to anyone who struggles.

Living Hope Ministries has been a huge blessing to our marriage and our lives as individuals. We began counseling very skeptical and unsure about the future of our marriage.
